Lonesome Doves are an American indie-rock duo from Texas. They met in the middle of a blossoming art scene in Denton, Texas in 2010. They soon began pursuing recording excellence with the help of an 8 track machine and other rudimentary equipment picked up here and there. Scarlett (lead vocalist, ukulele, drums) began applying her love of poetry and appreciation of melody together in an honest pursuit of songwriting soon after they first met. Sean (guitar, bass, and drums), a true multi-instrumentalist, has helped craft the rest of their sounds with his unique musical visions he has been honing since he was 12. Together, they are committed to creating the sounds of a new Americana. Blending folk, pop, country, blues, and rock to forge music meant for the moment and beyond. They are now based in Vermont.

They have released 3 full-length albums since 2014. Their fourth album, Crunchy, was released November 8, 2024. 

On December 20, 2025 they released a new EP: Lonesome Doves Christmas Album.

February 2, 2026 is the tentative release date for their fifth album, Pink Cloud.
